We were up at the crack of dawn to prepare for my first clinic visit. I was scheduled to have a clinic visit with labs drawn and then another right heart catheterization with biopsy but as it turns out my biopsy will be next week. I will keep everyone posted... The clinic visit was very positive. I was told that my new special heart is functioning very well and strong at 66%. My vitals are trending well and I need to continue to check my blood sugar twice a day. I am still pretty swollen everywhere and carrying extra fluid but they reassure me it will all get better. I am very uncomfortable today with a lot of sternum pain and I can't get comfortable at all. I'm sure traveling back and forth to Boston in the vehicle wasn't conducive to pain control.
On a positive note David had the opportunity to listen to my heart for the first time. What a spectacular moment ❤️ for both of us. My life is beautiful.
