Day 2 was not a easy day for KellyAnn
Her difficulties today are pain management. The nurses are right on top of it but it is a huge task.
She is also struggling to try and clear her throat and lungs. She seriously said a couple good belches would help.
But she had a couple big pluses today. She was able to transfer from the bed to a chair where she lasted for 3 hours. At one point she slide to the edge of the chair, with assistance, to sit fully upright. She started using her spirometer to help/assist her pulmonary recovery.
To end today with a true to KellyAnn thoughtfulness piece. She was doing her respiratory breathing and coughing to break things up when house keeping came in to empty the trash she paused I asked if she was okay she said yes I just don't want to cough on them.

Oh KellyAnn, always thinking of someone else, typical!! Happy to hear she’s sitting up but hurts my heart to hear of her pain. Hopefully they get her on a good pain management regimen and she feels some relief. David, thank you for these amazing updates but I’m sure she’s right behind you reminding to send them. Sending everything I have her way. #HeartWarrior
